WORSHIP SERVICES
Broadway would like to invite you to hear God’s Word through music, prayer and message in one of our two Sunday morning worship services at 8:30 a.m. or 10:40 a.m. Our early service includes a weekly sharing of Communion.
Children of all ages are welcome in worship. If desired, a nursery is provided for both services for children 5 and under. It is available on the first floor of the education building in Room 1; please ask one of our ushers if you need assistance.
If you are visiting with us, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering as you are our guest.
We would also invite you to join us for a time of fellowship, coffee and donuts before our second service in the Keystone Coffee House across the hall from the sanctuary. Enjoy fellowship and your favorite espresso drink before worship!
CHRISTIAN NURTURE
Broadway United Methodist church began in 1907 out of a desire to provide Christian nurture to the children in the Waldo community. Broadway is still committed to those efforts. We continue to provide opportunities where both children and adults are nurtured in the love of Christ so that they can grow into the disciples they were created to be. A variety of programs are offered to meet the needs of our community, from traditional Sunday school to programs small group ministries.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday school classes are offered from 9:15 -10:15 a.m. every week for children and adults beginning at age 2. Our children learn about becoming disciples through a variety of methods including storytelling, drama, crafts, and song. Adults serving in our programs for children and youth have all been screened and instructed in our Child/Youth Protection Policy. A nursery is available for children under the age of 2.
