Keystone Coffee House ~ Now Open!

A place for all in our neighborhood community and beyond to experience on Sundays. “Designer” or regular coffee served at no cost in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.Check out updated pictures at: www.broadwaymethodist.org/coffeehouse.htm

Clothes Closet

Offers donated clothing, new clothing and overstocks to families registered with the Jackson County Division of Family Services Foster Children’s program. The “closet” is used to help clothe over 200 foster children a year.

Broadway United Methodist Women (UMW)

Women around the globe join hands with Broadway women of all ages to serve the needs of women and children, through Christ’s love, with relief aid, comfort, and education. Circles within the UMW provide small group fellowship and support.

Hale Cook School Volunteers

Provide support to our neighborhood elementary school by tutoring students in small groups

Thanksgiving Dinner

A long-time tradition at Broadway is provided by a cooking crew and members of the congregation who bring in homemade side dishes. All in our neighborhood and beyond are welcomed into this warm fellowship that celebrates in the true meaning of thanksgiving.

Most “Fowl” Congregation

A contest with other area Methodist churches to provide the greatest number of turkeys to feed the hungry on Thanksgiving.

Food Drive

A concentrated effort each spring to stimulate donations to our year-around support in feeding the hungry of the greater Kansas City area.

Empowerment Center

Is provided with office space at no cost at Broadway. This organization gives emergency utility assistance for individuals and families in the Waldo area.

Festival of Sharing

An ecumenical program that provides disaster relief for Missouri and joins a coordinated effort for relief programs around the world.

Quilters

Our talented, dedicated group leave their happy customers in stitches and donate all proceeds to UMW outreach programs.
